I've been doing photography for many years. I used to shoot analog with b/w T-max 400 film but today I only use digital because of the convenience. I'm usually more impressed when someone makes a photo in the camera and the darkroom rather than photoshop. It takes a whole lot more time to do it for real, but the mark of quality will show up in the photos. In this digital age, photographers are using photoshop too lightly, instead of really planning out the shots. There are some spectacular photoshop montages around, but there should always be a point to the editing and it should be obvious it's an edited photo but at the same time it the seems of the editing should be invisible.
When I'm not doing photo I'm studying to become a lawyer, dancing lindy-hop, as well as running the photo community Onexposure.net, as one of it's two founders.
